Luke Lost his First Tooth!

Last night we were at Jess softball game when suddenly... Luke lost his first tooth! It is so tiny! He was excited and a little worried about the blood. He told me that his tongue was just so confused it wanted to fill in the hole with itself. At bedtime we wrote a note to the toothfairy explaining that since it was his first tooth and so cute that he would like to keep it. We put the note under his pillow. It worked! This morning (or sometime last night) he found a crisp dollar bill and 3 quarters under his pillow. Luke says that the tooth fairy pays a lot when it is your first. He told me that last night he kept hearing little fairy footsteps under his pillow and so he would peek under to see if the note was still there. He said that the third time he checked it was money and it was even before he fell asleep! She is a sneaky one that toothfairy! I was amazed!

Furgeson Final Countdown (and it hurts!)

We are all aching inside because this is the Furgesons last week in Boise. We have shared so many great memories together and we know there will be more to come, but just not as often. We have loved Micheal and his "fits", his love of Troy Bolton and Zelda, his little fists shaking to Paralyzer. I almost had him convinced to stay and become Micheal meikle until he found out about a little boy named Ollie that will live next door. But micheal, "you are always invited!" We love Julia who can hold her own with the boys and worships Jess. And Will and his "refreshing" outlook and huge vocabulary, he has been a wonderful friend to Caleb. Jared's love of games, philosophies on life and Enrique vocals. And Kelly... I guess the indigo girls said it best, "the best thing you've ever done for me, was to help me take my life less seriously, it's only life afterall." We have spent lots of time venting, escaping, or crying but we have spent at least part of each day laughing! Thank you for bringing so much fun into our lives! We will miss you all so very much! We love you!

Terrible Horrible No Good Very Bad Day!!!

After reading my friend Alison's blog tonight I have decided that April 15 must be a cursed day! I have decided to join in the fun and vent a little.

DON"T YOU HATE IT WHEN......
-you discover that after 8 years you still don't know what you are doing as a mom
-cub scouts
-your best friend is packing up her house to move
-repeatedly being pregnant long enough to gain weight, but not long enough to get a baby
-your husband is stuck at the Chicago airport overnight
-you have created punishments for your kid that are worse for you than him
-and yet you want to add another one to the family
-after 2 weeks of weight loss shakes and killing yourself at the gym the scale won't budge
-you start your period
-you feel guilty for complaining cuz you know you have it really great!
