What a blessing to have such great friends! last saturday we all went to Cheesecake Factory for lunch to celebrate Stacia's Birthday. We enjoyed great conversations such as... anti-wrinkle cream, bacteria in lemons, and new saftey ideas such as keeping money and cell phones in your bra, never miss a call again!

Goodbye to the twisted mass of cords!!

I have had my eye on this for a few years now and the other day there it was in the clearance center at RC Willeys. It is the perfect fit for jess's HUGE TV and it was half price! It was DESTINY! it only took jess and our friend jared about 6 hours to untangle the cords and hook it all up. jess now has his surround sound and the giant ball of cords is now hidden!! I love it!

Surprise snowmen crossing!

We have had tons of snow the past few weeks. In fact school was cancelled last Wednesday. This was the latest trick our neighbors pulled on us. 2 weeks ago I looked out the window sunday morning to see Mac and Becca shoveling our driveway. I couldn't believe how nice it was. When it was time for church we opened the garage to find they had shoveled it all up to the garage making a huge wall of snow behind our cars. so the next week we did it back to them and Caleb wrote "Revenge" across their yard. Then this sunday, Jess got a phone call from Mac to check his email. He found these pictures, we ran to the garage and found 5 HUGE snowmen behind our cars!Saturday, February 2, 2008
some thankful thoughts...

Welcome 2008! The new year has already been filled with items to put on my resume. I have now(almost) officially survived my third miscarrage. It has got me thinking how thankful I am for my two darling boys. How did it ever work? What a miracle they are! According to Luke, I can be thankful because "that baby was sucking the life out of me". Jess is also my rock! He is always just what I need. As we sat in the ultra sound room and dejavu started to become all too real, I was filled with a feeling of peace. That feeling has stayed and this past week has been filled with life and laughter and only a few tears. I am so blessed! I hope I am learning to let go and trust that all is in Gods hands.
